Obituary for Malcolm Carl "Bud" Stenlund
Malcolm Carl “Bud” Stenlund passed away on June 24th, 2022. He was born to Roy Stenlund and Malcolm Grace Cunard on August 13th, 1942 in Longview, Wash. He was raised in Long Beach, Wash., and attended Ilwaco High School, graduating class of 1960.
On December 28th, 1963, Bud married Jane Jasperson in Long Beach, they were married for 58 years. They moved to Grayland in 2000 but raised their children in the Sumner and Buckley area.
Bud worked for Manke Lumber Co. for 30 years and retired from Foss in 2007. He enjoyed many years with Fircrest Yacht Club. He loved woodworking and enjoyed re-doing his antique boats. He and Jane loved to RV and he enjoyed working with heavy equipment.
Bud is survived by his wife Jane at their family home in Grayland; son Ken (Tina) Stenlund of Sumner, Wash.; daughters Julie (Wade) Green of Buckley, Wash., and Holly ( d. Russ) Sapel of Puyallup, Wash.; brother Paul Stenlund of Puget Island, Wash.; grandsons Jordan Sapel and Bryson and Evan Green; and great-grandaughter Haven Green. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Roy Stenlund.
