Obituary for Tiffany Shileen Powell-Dunn
Tiffany S. Powell-Dunn, 43, of Montesano WA, passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2021- she was surrounded by family and friends.
Tiffany was born in Aberdeen WA, March 1, 1978. Daughter of Late father Michael L. Dunn. She is survived by her Mother Elaine Powell-Dunn, her two younger sisters Felina and Alyssa Powell. She is also survived by grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tiffany was a member of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas- Nebraska and was very proud of her Native heritage.
Tiffany graduated from Montesano Jr. Sr. High School in 1996. After high school Tiffany’s career path began with an interest in Physical therapy. In her mid-twenties she made a career change to banking where she worked for many years until pursuing a new career path at the Washington State Department of Corrections.
Tiffany enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, clam digging, crabbing and going to the river. She also enjoyed going to the casino, dancing, singing karaoke and stopping by the Welcome Inn for prime rib night. Spending time with her friends and family was always most enjoyable to her, regardless of the activity. She always found herself on a path of helping people achieve their best self.
Even through her battle with cancer, Tiffany remained positive with her sense of humor never wavering. She had a uniquely “Tiffany way” of re-counting every hilarious and embarrassing detail of events, mishaps, and adventures she had with everyone.
Tiffany will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A celebration of life will be held at the Montesano Moose Lodge, June 5th, 2021 at 4pm.
