Obituary for Maxine Jean Quinn

Maxine Jean Quinn, 81, passed of natural causes at her home, on Friday, August 25, 2017.
Born December 12, 1935, in Montesano, Washington, where she lived until her death. She worked as a homemaker and loved cooking, baking, canning, gardening, flowers, fishing, and giving a home to unwanted animals, from chicks in the bathtub to small deer, and of course dogs and birds (including Nikko, bless her heart!). Max made sure her children had solid values upon which to live and carry through life. She enjoyed having a close connection to her grandchildren and mentoring each on must know life-lessons directly from her. She also enjoyed that her home was always the gathering place and made sure the coffee was always on with good conversation.
Survivors include her Daughters, Suzie Jones (Dr. Tony Jones), and Dianne Quinn Hamilton, five granddaughters (Sarah, Savannah, Ashley (Jerry Buller), Lyndsey, Hannah), and one grandson, Noah, two great-grandsons, two brothers (Jim and Steve), two sisters (June and Barbara), and a host of nieces, and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Bob (March 2017) and son Larry (July 2013).
A private service will be held on Friday September 1, 2017, Satsop Cemetery. A private reception for relatives and friends will follow the service at the cemetery.
